While I have made many controversial statements here in the past, I believe I am about to state my most provocative observation yet:

The weather's been lovely here this year.

27-29 centigrade, mostly sunny, precisely the prescribed quantity of intermittent rain to keep the air circulating and the greenery lush, and oh the daintiest little summer breezes caressing one's cheek upon the promenade.
